Adult Family Counseling

Families change. Sometimes the relationships within them need to change, too.

Family relationships can be among the most important — and most complicated — in our lives. Even after children become adults, old roles, expectations and patterns can continue to shape how family members respond to each other's needs.

BOOK A CONSULTATION

Adult family counseling can help you understand what happens between you — what goes wrong and what works — and find better, more authentic ways of relating to one another.

What Brings Families to Counseling?

Famalies come to us at many
different stages.

Parent & Adult Child Relationships
Sibling Relationships & Conflict

Estrangement & Reconciliation
Family Decision Making
Navigating Family Relationships from Abroad

When Adult Roles Begin to Change

Parents age. Adult children become more independent — or need unexpected support.

Grandchildren enter the equation. Retirement, caregiving and living in different countries can all change what family members need and expect from one another.

These changes can raise difficult questions about how a family can adapt while maintaining connection.

Who Participates?

Sessions can accommodate family members in different locations.

Some may attend in person, while others join online, or everyone can participate by video. Together, we can determine what arrangement makes the most sense for your family.
